Overview

A drama that portrays female empowerment within a vibrant musical universe. The story follows Karen Arbeláez, who marries young to Alexander Orduz, a politician aspiring to become the next president of the republic. Fate, however, leads her to fall in love with Víctor Rodríguez, a successful young singer — a romance that brings her serious consequences. When her husband discovers this scandalous affair, he gives her two choices: face prison and be separated from her son through a trap he has orchestrated behind her back, or abandon her lover and embrace the role of mother and First Lady he needs her to play.

Meanwhile, Karen’s sister, Kitty Arbeláez, fights to save Daniel Caballero — the man she loves — from his own vendetta. Daniel is determined to destroy his father, Fernán Caballero, whom he blames for his mother’s murder. The hatred between father and son unleashes a war that engulfs everyone around them, culminating in the death of one of the two.

The series stars Valerie Domínguez, David Palacio, and Rodrigo Candamil. It is produced by Juan Carlos Villamizar and directed by Daniel Arenas and Mauricio Cruz.
