Overview

A series set in the city, on which journalists do not hesitate to become cannon folder with the only purpose of bringing to light the truths about illegal business. Young journalist Julian Aldana, the son of a respectable and highly regarded family, has decided to publish a book to reveal the connection between a drug cartel and certain politicians. Eliana, another young reporter that shares her interest in investigative journalism, will help him. They compile, analyze and check information, because they suspect politician Alfredo Gonzalez’s murder was the result of settling of scores. An insider informs Julian that his boss, the head of an important drug cartel, is searching high and low for a computer that the organization’s accountant was carrying when he was also killed. That computer is in the hands of Manuela, a striking woman that behind her family’s back works as a classy prostitute and who gets accidentally entangled in the whole affair, thus becoming a vital key because of the secrets she knows about the organization. Unfortunately for Eliana, Manuela is her own sister. Julian and Eliana keep on tying up the loose ends for they intend to get to the highest part of the sinister organization and they do indeed manage to achieve it when they find out that the big ringleader is “El Halcon” (“The Falcon”): the honest, upright, and well-known politician German Aldana, Julian’s father. All sins dance together and crimes become an everyday occurrence. (El ventilador).
