El Desafío XX Años concluded as the #1 show during prime time in Colombia.

El Desafío XX Años, the flagship original format of Caracol Televisión, brought together more than 6 million Colombians last Friday who tuned in to watch the finale. With 52.8% share and a 12.9 rating, this new season surpassed MasterChef Celebrity in viewership.

Throughout the entire season, El Desafío averaged a 47.7% share and an 11.6 rating, numbers that positioned it as the most successful format of 2024 since its premiere. Additionally, this new edition outperformed the 2023 season, which reached an average of 42% share.

For the final, the Black Box was the stage where Kevyn, captain of Team Beta, whose inspiring story of overcoming obstacles since childhood captivated the audience, was crowned the winner of El Desafío XX Años. The participant won over 300,000 dollars, which includes the prize and the amount accumulated throughout the competition.

It was an unprecedented challenge! Viewers and former contestants from this season witnessed the fierce battle between the two finalist teams: Guajira and Kevyn, and Darlyn and Sensei, who competed for first place in a closely fought duel. During the competition, which had a live audience for the first time, the finalists were accompanied by their captains: world football stars Faustino “El Tino” Asprilla and Carlos “El Pibe” Valderrama, who cheered them on until the end.

In the midst of an unforgettable night, in the final battle, the superhumans faced balance tests, and at the end, there was a chance for luck to play a role. In this way, they demonstrated that great competitors and life challengers are made to never give up.

The hosts, Andrea Serna and María Fernanda Aristizábal, were responsible for presenting the coveted trophy and the grand prize.

El Desafío XX Años concludes with a celebration of two decades of reaching Colombian homes, with thousands of experiences lived, this time in Tobia, Cundinamarca.

The El Desafío format has had the same success as its Colombian version in its adaptations in other countries, such as Mexico, the United States, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, and Russia.
